Abstract
ABSTRACT DESIGN OF INFORMATION SYSTEM DESKTOP-BASED GOODS SALES (Case Study: Glory House Yogyakarta) Glory House is a shoes and sandals shop. It does not have any sales applications; a customer should see the cashier make a memorandum as a sales transaction. The memorandum is used as a reference for making sales reports. This process takes a long time where errors and data redundancies may happen. Therefore, the researcher aimed to design a desktop-based sales information system as an alternative method in the sales transaction process. Through this system, the transaction could run faster, effective, and efficient. The design used delphi7, where the database uses SQL server 2005. After the completion of the design, it requires testing of its functionality and suitability used in Glory House. The results of this research showed that the software simplified the work of admins and owners in viewing sales reports. Keywords: Sales Information System, shoes, and sandals
