Abstract
Work routines often make workers tired. Traffic, busyness, and the demands of fast-paced work have become a significant daily life for city residents. Instead, many people keep pets such as cats, dogs, turtles, even snakes to get rid of boredom and stress. Caring for cats in a community that has a high level of activity is a problem for cat fans. Many people went out of town and left their pets. The cat could survive even without feeding for 2 – 3 days. Longer than that, the cat will start starving, or even the cat will get sick and then die. At present, no many choices to do when a cat is left behind. Even though there is a daycare with a relative price, but not all places have a daycare. Based on this background, this study designed an IoT-based cat feeder. Where this tool uses an android application in operation, this device uses components such as Nodemcu8266, Servo Motor, and Isd1820. Based on the results of this test, it proved that the combination of hardware, software, and internet networks could make this tool accessible using an Android application. The accuracy of this tool in pouring cat feed weighing 50 grams each time cat feeding is 99.2%. Keywords: Cats, Nodemcu8622, IoT, Application
