Abstract
Pangkur Village Head's office is located in Pangkur Village, Pangkur District, Ngawi Regency. The population of Pangkur Village is 5130 people. Records management within agencies is very important in supporting administrative activities for the sake of the sustainability of an institution. The archive serves as a source of information for planning, analysis, and decision making. Archive as a media of documentation, the archive is official evidence that can be accounted for for government activities, therefore it is an obligation for every employee working in the filing unit in an agency to carry out their duties properly, so that correspondence services can be better. The method used to build this system is a method of data collection which is done by interview, observation and literature study. The purpose of this study is to design and build a data archiving system that enters and exits the Pangkur Village Head's Office which is expected to facilitate staff in data archiving. The results of this study can facilitate the filing of Pangkur Village Head Office staff in filing incoming, outgoing and invitation data effectively and systematically which can minimize errors. The conclusion of this research is that the Office of the Pangkur Village Chief Archiving Information System can be implemented into a more computerized system. The process that occurs is the process of incoming mail, outgoing mail, invitation process, disposition process, incoming mail validation process, incoming mail report process, mail report process exit, invitation report process and disposition report process, and Output of the Pangkur Village Office's filing information system are incoming mail reports, outgoing mail reports, invitation reports and disposition reports.
