Abstract

Clean air is a right for everyone, so all activities that can cause air pollution need to be prevented, including those originating from cigarette smoke. To date unfortunately, although special rooms for smokers have been provided, there are still many people who smoke in non-smoking areas including public toilets. For this reason, it is necessary to detect cigarette smoke and automatic door locks on the toilet to warn smokers not to smoke in public toilets. The design uses Arduino Nano as a microcontroller, MQ-2 sensor as a detector of cigarette smoke with GSM SIM 900A Module as a medium for sending information to the toilet guard via message / SMS and RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) as a door opening sensor after being scanned by the toilet guard and solenoids for open and close tool of the door and buzzer as a warning sounds. Kata kunci : Sensor MQ-2, Arduino Nano, RFID, Module GSM, Selenoid
