Abstract
Nowadays Technology has developed very fast. Many new technologies can help facilitate human activities as resources, one of them is the use of ultrasonic sensors. Ultrasonic sensors can be used to help detect an object that is in front of the sensor with a certain distance. The system of assistance devices used by the blind is not optimal yet, generally in the form of ordinary sticks which are widely used by blind people. Ultrasonic sensors help stick users detect objects that are directly in front of them with a distance, so this tool helps blind people find out objects through the buzzer as an alarm. The making this tool starts from the design of the tool and proceed with the assembly of several components. The component in this system is an ultrasonic sensor that is used to read objects that are in front of the user. This stick is moved to find out the object that will get in the way. Ultrasonic sensors are connected to the brain from the working process of the tool, the buzzer functions as a media marker if there are objects that block and the use of GPS ( Global Positioning System ) modules to detect the presence within a certain radius by using the application to find out its location.
