Abstract
Yogyakarta PDHI Islamic Hospital is one of the charitable businesses established by the PDHI Association. PDIY Hospital which is located on Jalan Solo KM 12.5 Kalasan Sleman Yogyakarta provides several health services for the community. One of the available services is linen service. However, the linen management at Yogyakarta PDHI Islamic Hospital is not in accordance with the linen management guidelines. Linen service information system at the Yogyakarta PDHI Islamic Hospital is still carried out manually. It causes problems such as many cases of linen loss resulting in the absence of good record since the recorded data is not processed as a report material. The purpose of this study is to build a linen monitoring information system in Yogyakarta PDHI Islamic Hospital. The results of the study shows that the parties involved in the information system are room attendants who provide a list of dirty linen, laundry installation officers who record the amount of incoming and outgoing linen in the form for sending and taking linen, a person who is responsible to re-records the amount of incoming and outgoing linen in the linen register book and make a report. Based on the system process flow, it can be made linen monitoring information system at the Yogyakarta PDHI Islamic Hospital. The decision to develop the system can be seen from the availability of technology, the ability of officers in operating the system, as well as the hardware requirements needed to help the development of linen service information systems. The information system is designed using DFD and ERD with PHP programming language and using MySQL as a database server. The existence of a computer-based linen monitoring information system is expected to be able to overcome the obstacles in linen service. Keywords: Information Systems, Monitoring, Linen Services.
