Abstract
SMA 1 Dukun is a superior high school in Dukun District. Many of impressive achievements have been accomplished by this school. This school provides educational services for people of Dukun District and surrounding areas. The learning system applied by the school is still limited to teaching and learning activities in the classroom. The material obtained by students is limited as given by the teacher during the learning process. Online learning was chosen as a means of supporting the effectiveness of teaching and learning activities. To get accurate data results, the authors use the method of observation. The research method of observation makes the author to visit to the relevant agencies namely SMA 1 Dukun. At the system design stage it uses ERD (Entity Relational Database) and also DFD (Data Flow Diagrams). At the implementation stage it uses the PHP programming language and the MySQL database. The results of these studies produce a web-based online learning system that can be used as a medium for student learning, and can be useful to support the quality of learning in accordance with the development of technology. Information to be obtained from this system is in the form of teacher profiles, student profiles, assignments, materials, quizzes, quiz grades, assignment grades and for students to get Telegram notifications when there are new material and assignments. This system will provide facilities for uploading and downloading for students and teachers. The web-based online learning system can support teaching and learning activities to be more effective and reduce empty hours. Keywords: Information, Online Learning, Schools
