Abstract

Currently, Abadi cushion furniture stalls still use the old method of disseminating information by word of mouth and also do not have promotional media and information in cyberspace in the form of websites so that the ordering process becomes less effective and promotional activities become undeveloped. The problem that occurs in Abadi cushion is that when a customer wants to buy, they must go directly to the Abadi cushion shop to order a product. This is due to the absence of a system for ordering goods online at Abadi Cushion to shorten the process of ordering an item by the customer. The purpose of making this website-based sales system is that consumers or buyers can directly order the desired items online so that ordering and selling are faster and customers don't need to waste time coming to order directly. The research method used is a waterfall consisting of requirements analysis, design, implementation and system testing. This online-based sales application was built using a web-based programming language, namely PHP and MySQL as a database server. It also collaborates with Bootstrap to get a responsive web display. The result of this research is the existence of an online store application that can be used to conduct product promotions and sales based online. This web-based sales system can make it easier for Abadi Cushion furniture to process sales transaction data and sales reports and make it easier for customers to purchase furniture products.
