Abstract

The type of word stacking game that currently exists only compiles words from the letters given to be arranged into an appropriate word and uses answer-matching without any methods, and the value for each questions only contains true or false. This study discusses how to implement the Rabin-Karp algorithm in English word stacking games. The Rabin-Karp Algorithm is a string matching algorithm using hashing to find the similarity of the string patterns sought. This algorithm is applied to word stacking games to get an accurate assessment. With an accurate assessment, users can find out their level of ability in composing English words. Based on trials conducted, the word stacking game using the Rabin-Karp method is able to conduct string matching of user answers and answer keys by producing an accurate score output. Users can find out the ability to compose English words based on the given score. Keywords: Rabin karp, game, android
