Abstract
Freshwater fish farming is a business that engaged in the field of fisheries. Many types of freshwater fishes can be farmed, for example, tilapia and catfish. Both of these fish are fish that are very popular. Many types of freshwater fishes can be farmed with various enlargement techniques. In enlarging fish there are challenges in starting or running the business. New entrepreneurs and those who have already run businesses sometimes have doubts in determining what types of fish should be chosen. In the business of enlarging fish, it should be considered in the purchase of fish seedlings, also pay attention to the weight of the fish to be harvested later, and how long the cultivation period that must be run. Because the longer the farming, the more costs will be paid. Recommendation of freshwater fish species can be done by calculating aspect in choosing fish species. Tsukamoto method is expected to be one of the right ways to provide recommendations for fish species that are in accordance with the requirement. Several fish species recommendation variables can be used in calculations using the Tsukamoto Method. The calculation result obtained can then be used as consideration in selecting the type of freshwater fish farming. Keyword : Tsukamoto Fuzzy Inference System (FIS), Fish Culture, Fuzzy Logic
