Abstract

Yogyakarta is strategically located in the middle and the provincial capital, making many industries grow in this region. Many vendors or sellers of products are developing rapidly in the city of Yogyakarta. The development of clothing or clothing styles that began selling their products directly to buyers such as t-shirts, resulted in increasingly competitive businesses. T-shirt transparency specifications that are not clear, lack of confidence in purchasing clothing online and vendor selection that is not easy because of price competition, makes it difficult for buyers to design and order t-shirts in a confection vendor as they wish. Making a recommendation system where vendors or sellers such as the confection industry and clothing stores with buyers meet on a website-based website is the solution. The application of the system uses the User-based collaborative filtering method. The function of this method is to make it easier for buyers to find vendors who have the best-rated t-shirt products, because the collaborative filtering method can bring up t-shirt products with ratings from other buyers so that they can anticipate mistakes in purchasing t-shirts with the system to be made. Keywords: Collaborative Filtering, T-shirts, Recommendation Systems
