Abstract
The Internet of Things (IoT) is a concept where an object has the ability to transfer data through a network without requiring human interaction. IoT works by utilizing a programming argument, where each command argument can generate an interaction between machines that have been automatically connected without human intervention and without limitation of how far the distance is. One of the systems, uses automated devices, is known as smart home. A smart home is a system that allows users to quickly and efficiently monitor and control the state of the house. One of the smart home features is the automatic monitoring and control of home doors which is called the door lock system. One of the tools that can be used in the monitoring door lock system is an Android smartphone. Its wide extent of use and almost owned by everyone, makes Android smartphones as the main choice in any development that requires high mobility. Door lock system which has been connected to the Internet can be connected with Android smartphone anywhere and anytime as long as there is Internet network.
