Abstract

The queue can be interpreted as a long line of people who need services from one or more service facilities. The queue occurs because the need for services exceeds the number of services or service facilities available. A queue system that is not well regulated can have a negative effect on a public service agency such as a bank, campus and others, such as a queue waiting for its turn uncertain when its turn will be served. This has many shortcomings, such as irregular queues, lack of reports that report how many customers have been served by each teller or officer, as well as the concentration of security guards who are disturbed to maintain security, because security guards play a role in managing those in line queues. The queue system application program that I developed is one of the solutions to this problem. By using this application, those in line need not be confused and jostled to be served by tellers or officers. The author hopes that the system developed can be useful both from service providers and those in line. Keywords: Queue, Service Providers.
