Abstract
ABSTRAK Kabupaten Demak termasuk dalam wilayah administratif provinsi Jawa Tengah yang memiliki luas wilayah 89.743 Ha. Sebagai upaya guna mendukung peningkatan moda transportasi darat kepada masyarakat sehingga di perlukannya Pembangunan Terminal Bus Tipe A di Kabupaten Demak. Dalam rangka mempercepat peningkatan pelayanan masyarakat di Kabupaten Demak khususnya dalam bidang transportasi darat. Diharapkan dibangunnya Terminal Bus penumpang multifungsi ini, Selain akan digunakan untuk aktivitas naik turunnya penumpang, juga ada kegiatan lain untuk kegiatan ekonomi masyarakat di Kabupaten Demak. Perancangan Terminal Bus Tipe A di Kabupaten Demak ini menggunakan pendekatan desain Modern Kontemporer. Pendekatan desain Modern Kontemporer digunakan karena Demak memiliki perkembangan yang sangat bagus baik dari bidang komersil maupun dari ekonomi. Merupakan salah satu cara untuk merespon modernisasi dan perkembangan masyarakat Demak dengan adanya Terminal Bus Tipe A di Kabupaten Demak. Sebagai daya tarik untuk masyarakat di Kabupaten Demak menaiki bus melalui Terminal Bus ini. Metode yang digunakan untuk merancang Terminal Bus Tipe A di Kabupaten Demak yaitu metode primer dan metode sekunder, pengumpulan data dengan metode primer yang dilakukan dengan survey ke lapangan untuk memperoleh data dan foto di sekitar site, dan untuk mengetahui batasan-batasan pada site. Pengumpulan data dengan metode sekunder yaitu bekerjasama dengan instansi-instansi terkait yang ada di Kabupaten Demak untuk memperoleh data yang valid. Perancangan Terminal Bus Tipe A di Kabupaten Demak ini dirancang dengan tampilan yang menarik dengan memberikan sencodary skin pada fasad, penataan landscape, sirkulasi di dalam maupun di luar yang baik bagi orang biasas termasuk difabel, konsep ruang dalam dan konsep ruang luar, dan juga penggunaan material dan warna yang menarik pada interior bangunan. Kata Kunci: Terminal Bus, Tipe A, Kabupaten Demak, Pendekatan, Modern Kontemporer ABSTRACT Demak Regency is included in the administrative area of Central Java province which has an area of 89,743 Ha. As an effort to support the improvement of land transportation modes to the community, a development of Type A Bus station in Demak Regency is needed. In order to accelerate the improvement of community services in Demak Regency especially in the field of land transportation. It is expected that the construction of this multifunctional passenger Bus station, in addition to being used for passenger ups and downs, there are also other activities for community economic activities in Demak Regency. The design of the Type A Bus station in Demak Regency uses a Contemporary Modern design approach. The Modern Contemporary design approach is used because Demak has very good developments both in the commercial and economic fields. Is one way to respond to the modernization and development of the Demak community with the existence of a Type A Bus station in Demak Regency. As an attraction for people in Demak Regency take a bus through this Bus station. The methods used to design the Type A Bus station in Demak Regency are the primary and secondary methods, the collection of data by the primary method is done by surveying the field to obtain data and photos around the site, and to find out the limitations on the site. Data collection with secondary methods is in collaboration with relevant agencies in Demak Regency to obtain valid data. The design of the Type A Bus station in Demak Regency is designed with an attractive appearance by giving sencodary skin to the facade, landscape arrangement, circulation inside and outside which are good for ordinary people including the diffable, the concept of space inside and the concept of outside space, and also the use of materials and attractive colors in the interior of the building.
