Abstract

Oyster mushroom cultivation has constraints on controlling temperature and humidity parameters which are still done manually. In this research, the development of an Internet-based technology system of Things (IOT) was conducted with the aim of becoming one of the solutions for controlling temperature and humidity remotely using a wireless network. Temperature and humidity have an important role in the cultivation of oyster mushrooms to get optimal growth. The optimal temperature needed is around 24C - 27C and humidity 80% - 90%. Mushroom house (kumbung) must be watered regularly to maintain the temperature and humidity of the air. The aim of this research is to create a tool that can regulate the temperature and humidity of mushroom house (kumbung) automatically to make it easier for farmers to maintain a stable temperature and humidity of the room continuously. This automatic control system uses the DHT22 sensor as a gauge of temperature and humidity and Arduino uno as a tool control. The test results prove that the temperature and humidity regulation system can maintain a stable temperature and humidity of the room at an average of 25 C and 60%, with a set point of humidity temperature of 27 C and 55%.
