Abstract
Islamic Boarding School Inayatullah is one of the Islamic Boarding Schools in Yogyakarta. Most of the Islamic Boarding School students are students from various universities in Yogyakarta. All teaching and learning activities carried out by students, even various management activities in boarding schools are also carried out by students who also have other activities outside the boarding school, namely as students. In this case, financial management activities in the Islamic boarding school ‘Inayatullah are still in the form of conventional handwriting in financial books by the treasurer. Financial management includes payment of shahriah santri, cash, khataman contributions, and so forth. This method is considered ineffective, because of the large possibility of miscalculation and data loss. Therefore, it is expected that the financial management system will facilitate the treasurer in the financial management process so that the treasurer can make a report without having to calculate one by one payment transaction data manually. This financial management system is created using a model-view-controller (MVC) architecture, PHP (pear hypertext preprocessor) as a programming language, Sublime Text as a supporting device, and MySql as a database management system, so as to produce a system that can be used by treasurers in manage the entire financial transaction process of Islamic boarding schools' Inayatullah and make monthly and annual reports.
