Abstract
Yogyakarta City is the capital of the Yogyakarta Special Region Province which is a culinary destination for tourists. Lack of information or recommendations on culinary tourism visited, especially in the city of Yogyakarta, is a problem that is often experienced. There are several factors so that tourists in the city of Yogyakarta often find it difficult to get any culinary data that is recommended when doing tours in the city of Yogyakarta based on the lowest prices, good food taste, has good reviews, and the closest location to tourists. The purpose of designing this system is so that the culinary tourism search process can produce accurate data with calculations according to the wishes of the tourists based on the criteria chosen in the application. Retrieval of culinary data based on comparisons on bloggers on the website. The method used to display search results for culinary stalls uses the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to rank recommended culinary lists. This system will provide recommendations on some of the best culinary places according to user preferences, including the user's location. With the application of this recommendation system, (1) users are helped in getting advice on some of the best culinary choices for them, (2) users feel comfortable to travel in Yogyakarta, (3) food entrepreneurs in Yogyakarta have the opportunity to be more visible to every tourist, and (4) culinary entrepreneurs are encouraged to improve their services.
