Abstract
ABSTRAK Provinsi Bangka Belitung sejak tahun 2010 telah ditetapkan sebagai daerah kunjungan wisata ketiga di Indonesia setelah Bali dan Lombok. Selain itu, sejak tahun 2011, melalui Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 50 Tahun 2011 tentang Rencana Induk Pengembangan Pariwisata Nasional, telah menetapkan Kawasan Tanjung Kelayang sebagai Kawasan Strategis Pariwisata Nasional (KSPN). Hal tersebut menjadi acuan penulis untuk merancang suatu Sekolah Tinggi yang bergerak pada sektor pariwisata, dimana pada Provinsi Bangka Belitung sendiri belum adanya lembaga pendidikan tinggi yang berbasis pariwisata. Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata di Kabupaten Bangka dapat menjadi salah satu bukti perkembangan dan kemajuan pariwisata terutama di bidang ilmu pariwisata maupun peningkatan aspek-aspek fasilitas pendidikan di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Sebuah sekolah tinggi seharusnya dapat merepresentasikan pengamalan ilmu yang diajarkan di dalamnya. Untuk dapat membawa semangat yang sama, tema kontemporer diterapkan pada objek Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata ini. Tema kontemporer tetap akan berjalan selaras dengan lingkungan dimana sekolah tinggi ini berdiri, juga menyesuaikan dengan dinamika kampus yang berdiri di Indonesia khususnya Provinsi Bangka Belitung dengan mahasiswa sebagai subjek yang aktif dalam bersosialisasi dan membutuhkan ruang-ruang komunal untuk berekspresi. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam perancangan ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Perancangan untuk Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata di Bangka Belitung dominan mengusung konsep melalui prinsip-prinsip pendekatan arsitektur kontemporer yaitu bangunan yang kokoh, gubahan yang ekspresif dan dinamis, konsep ruang terkesan terbuka, harmonisasi ruang dalam yang menyatu dengan ruang luar, memiliki fasad bangunan yang transparan, pengoptimalan kenyamanan yang hakiki, dan eksplorasi elemen lansekap area yang berstruktur. Dan dipadukan dengan beberapa faktor lain seperti keterpaduan antar fasilitas, kontekstual dengan merespon kondisi sitenya. In addition, since 2011, through Government Regulation Number 50 of 2011 concerning the National Tourism Development Master Plan, it has designated the Tanjung Kelayang Area as a National Tourism Strategic Area (KSPN). This is the author's reference for designing a College that is engaged in the tourism sector, because in Bangka Belitung Province itself, there is no tourism-based higher education institution. The College of Tourism in Bangka Regency can be one proof of the development and progress of tourism, especially in the field of tourism science as well as improving aspects of educational facilities in the Province of Bangka Belitung Islands. A high school should be able to represent the practice of the knowledge taught in it. To be able to carry the same spirit, contemporary themes are applied to the object of this Tourism College. Contemporary themes will continue to run in harmony with the environment in which this high school stands, as well as adjusting to the dynamics of the campus in Indonesia, especially in Bangka Belitung Province with students as subjects who are active in socializing and need communal spaces for expression. The methodology used in this design uses quantitative methods. The design for the Tourism College in Bangka Belitung dominantly carries the concept through the principles of a contemporary architectural approach, namely a sturdy building, expressive and dynamic compositions, an open space concept, harmonization of inner space that blends with outer space, has a transparent building facade, optimization essential comfort, and exploration of structured area landscape elements, as well as combined with several other factors such as integration between facilities, contextual by responding to site conditions.
