Abstract
ABSTRAK Kabupaten Wakatobi merupakan salah satu wilayah di indonesia, yang memiliki potensi besar pariwisata alam laut dan pantainya. Setiap tahun jumlah wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Wakatobi mengalami peningkatan, baik wisatawan lokal maupun wisatawan mancanegara. Namun, peningkatan jumlah wisatawan tersebut tidak diimbangi dengan kehadiran sarana dan prasarana pendukung yang baik. Salah satu sarana yang dimaksud adalah fasilitas akomodasi. Melihat kurangnya fasilitas akomodasi di Wakatobi, maka Perancangan Resort di Pulau Hoga ini diharapkan dapat menjadi wadah untuk mengakomodasikan wisatawan lokal maupun mancanegara yang datang berkunjung ke Wakatobi. Dalam perancangan Resort di Pulau Hoga ini menggunakan konsep Floating Architecture dimana konsep utama dari perancangan ini adalah penerapan struktur dan material yang sesuai dengan pemahaman Floating Architecture sehingga menghasilkan sebuah rancangan yang dapat meminimalisir kerusakan lingkungan mengingat lokasi dari perancangan ini terletak di wilayah Wakatobi yang menempati salah satu posisi prioritas tertinggi dari konservasi laut di Indonesia. Kata kunci: Floating Architecture, Pulau Hoga, Resort, Wakatobi ABSTRACT Wakatobi Regency is one of the regions in Indonesia that has great potential for marine tourism and its beaches. Every year the number of tourists visiting Wakatobi has increased, both local tourists and foreign tourists. However, the increase in the number of tourists was not matched by the presence of good supporting facilities and infrastructure. One of the means referred to is accommodation facilities. Seeing the lack of accommodation facilities in Wakatobi, the Resort Design on Hoga Island is expected to be a forum to accommodate local and foreign tourists who come to visit Wakatobi. In designing this resort on Hoga Island using the concept of Floating Architecture where the main concept of this design is the application of structures and materials in accordance with the understanding of Floating Architecture so as to produce a design that can minimize environmental damage considering the location of this design is located in the Wakatobi area which occupies one of the the position of the highest priority of marine conservation in Indonesia.
