Abstract
ABSTRAK Gempa yang melanda pada 2018 merupakan bencana besar yang pernah terjadi di Kota Palu. Musibah yang pernah melanda tidak cukup untuk mengingatkan masyarakat sekitar tentang pentingnya siaga bencana. Perancangan musuem gempa sebagai wadah edukasi terkait bencana seperti gempa, tsunami dan likuifaksi serta bangunan memorial untuk mengenang korban-korban bencana. Pada proses perancangan museum gempa ini menggunakan proses pengumpulan data observasi langsung ke lokasi site yang berada di Palu. Data yang di dapat akan digunakan untuk memperoleh permasalahan yang ada serta potensi pada objek yang di amati. Proses perancangan menggunakan prinsip regionalisme ktiris. Regionalisme dalam arsitektur berarti suatu hal yang mengangkat potensi yang dimiliki oleh suatu daerah atau wilayah/kawasan dari berbagai macam konteks, seperti budaya/kultur, iklim dan bernuansa daerah atau regioanal. Kata kunci: Edukasi, Memorial, Musuem Gempa, Regionalisme Kritis ABSTRACT The earthquake that struck in 2018 was a major disaster that has occurred in Palu City. The tragedies that have hit are not enough to remind the surrounding community of the importance of disaster preparedness. The design of the earthquake museum is intended as a forum for education related to disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis and liquefaction as well as a memorial building to commemorate disaster victims. In the design process of this earthquake museum using the process of collecting direct observation data to the site location in Palu. The data that can be used will be used to obtain existing problems and the potential for the object being observed. The design process uses the principle of critical regionalism. Regionalism in architecture means something that raises the potential of a region from various contexts, such as culture, climate and regional or regional nuances.
