Abstract
ABSTRAK Dalam mempersiapkan Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Daerah Provinsi Bengkulu tahun 2016-2021, pemerintah sedang mengembangkan sektor pariwisata khususnya agrowisata kopi yang menjadi program prioritas dalam menyambut rencana penyelenggaraan Visit 2020 Wonderful Bengkulu dengan Kabupaten Kepahiang sebagai salah satu kawasan terpilih. Keterpilihan tersebut didukung dengan potensi yang dimiliki pada sektor perkebunan kopi arabika dan robusta yang terkenal dan telah memiliki pasar ekspor hingga mancanegara. Sebagai kawasan strategis daerah penghasil kopi terbesar di Bengkulu, maka pembangunan sarana dan prasarana sangat dibutuhkan untuk menunjang segala aktivitas pengguna dengan konsep edukasi berbasis agrowisata yang dapat mendorong ekonomi daerah, pebisnis dan masyarakat lokal. Sesuai dengan tujuan pemerintah, perancangan agrowisata kopi ditujukan untuk menciptakan wadah bagi pengguna yang melakukan rekreasi, belajar dan mencicipi kopi khas Bengkulu serta menjadikan identitas wilayah sebagai penghasil kopi terbaik dengan memperhatikan aspek lingkungan sekitar dengan sentuhan arsitektur kontekstual. Kata kunci: agrowisata, arsitektur kontekstual, kampung kopi, Kepahiang ABSTRACT In preparing the Bengkulu Province Mid-Term Development Plan for 2016-2021, the government is developing the tourism sector, especially coffee agro-tourism, which is a priority program in welcoming the planned Visit 2020 Wonderful Bengkulu with Kepahiang Regency as one of the selected areas. This choice is supported by the potential of the Arabica and Robusta coffee plantation sector which is well known and has export markets to foreign countries. As a strategic area of the largest coffee producing area in Bengkulu, the construction of facilities and infrastructure is needed to support all user activities with the concept of agro-tourism-based education that can boost the regional economy, business people and local communities. In accordance with the government's objectives, the design of coffee agro-tourism is aimed at creating a forum for users who enjoy recreation, learn and taste Bengkulu typical coffee and make the region's identity as the best coffee producer by paying attention to the aspects of the surrounding environment with a touch of contextual architecture.
