Abstract
ABSTRAK Perancangan shopping mall dan co-working space sejalan dengan tujuan pemerintah Kota Magelang untuk mengembangkan daerah pusat kota menjadi tujuan wisata dan komersial. Penggabungan dua fungsi antara shopping mall dan co-working space dilandasi oleh meningkatnya minat wisata dan wisata belanja masyarakat kota Magelang, dan di sisi lain berkembang juga tingkat investasi dan pelaku bisnis yang belum memiliki tempat sendiri untuk melakukan diskusi dan praktek bisnis. Permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam perancangan bangunan ini adalah cara merancang shopping mall dan co-working space yang dapat mewadahi kebutuhan wisata belanja dan kebutuhan ruang kerja sementara dan cara menyelaraskan dengan pendekatan arsitektur hybrid. Pendekatan arsitektur hybrid dipilih karena melihat sekitar lokasi perancangan yang memiliki keberagaman budaya yang bisa ditonjolkan sebagai ikon Kota Magelang. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk merancang bangunan komersial yang terkait dengan penunjang bisnis dan pariwisata dengan menonjolkan penggabungan langgam bangunan kebudayaan di sekitarnya. Kata kunci: hybrid, co-working, komersial , shopping mall ABSTRACT The design of shopping malls and co-working spaces is in line with the objective of the Magelang City government to develop the downtown area into a tourist and commercial destination. The merger of the two functions between a shopping mall and a co-working space is based on the increasing interest in tourism and shopping for the people of the city of Magelang, and on the other hand the growing level of investment and business people who do not have their own place to conduct business discussions and practices. The problem faced in designing this building is how to design shopping malls and co-working spaces that can accommodate the needs of shopping tours and temporary work space needs and how to harmonize with the hybrid architectural approach. The hybrid architectural approach was chosen because it looks at the design location which has cultural diversity that can be highlighted as an icon of the City of Magelang. This paper aims to design commercial buildings related to business and tourism support by highlighting the incorporation of cultural building styles in the vicinity.
