Abstract
ABSTRAK PT Adi Satria Abadi sebagai perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri manufaktur dengan produk akhir yaitu sarung tangan golf, dalam memproduksi berbagai macam jenis produk sarung tangan golf tersebut perusahaan perlu mempertimbangkan jumlah persediaan bahan baku yang harus disediakan. Masalah ini disebabkan karena PT Adi Satria Abadi menerapkan sistem make to order dalam proses produksinya, sehingga jumlah bahan baku yang dibutuhkan setiap bulannya berbeda-beda dan sering terjadi dihadapkan dengan masalah bahan baku yang berlebihan. Dalam waktu satu bulan rata-rata pemesanan bahan baku kulit domba sebesar 59.102,67 square feets, dipakai untuk permintaan proses produksi dengan total sebesar 44.083,33 square feets dan rata-rata pemesanan bahan baku synthetic sebesar 122.405,62 meter dipakai untuk permintaan proses produksi dengan total sebesar 72.583,33 meter. Maka dengan ini dikhawatirkan proses produksi di dalam perusahaan akan terganggu. Dari masalah tersebut maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan hasil yang optimal dari persediaan bahan baku yang ada di PT Adi Satria Abadi tersebut. Agar dapat mengetahui total biaya persediaan yang optimal pada persediaan bahan baku, maka metode yang dipakai adalah metode Periodic Review Model dan Hybrid System, karena pendekatan itu mengarah pada seberapa besar jumlah dan waktu yang diperlukan dalam pemesanan bahan baku. Selain itu berapa jumlah biaya yang harus dikeluarkan agar lebih efisien. Dari perhitungan dengan metode Periodic Review Model dan Hybrid System dapat dilihat hasil total biaya yang optimal untuk bahan baku kulit domba dan synthetic dengan memakai metode Periodic Review Model dengan total nilai sebesar Rp285.695.230.286/tahun atau Rp23.807.935.857/bulan untuk bahan baku kulit domba dan sebesar Rp383.420.202.215/Tahun atau Rp31.951.683.518/bulan untuk bahan baku synthetic. Kata Kunci: Bahan Baku, Jumlah, Metode dan Persediaan ABSTRACT PT Adi Satria Abadi is a company engaged in the manufacturing industry with the final product of golf gloves, in producing various types of golf glove products, the company needs to consider the amount of raw material inventory provided. This problem is PT Adi Satria Abadi applies “make to order” system in its production process, so that, the amount of raw materials needed each month varies and most of the time, raw material is excessive. In one month, the average order for raw sheepskin is 59,102.67 square feet; used for production process with 44,083.33 square feet total; and an average order 122,405.62 meters for synthetic raw materials are used for production process with the total as much as 72,583.33 meters. So that, concerning in production process will be disrupted. From these problems, the purpose of this study is to determine the optimal results from raw materials supply in PT Adi Satria Abadi. In order to find the optimum inventory raw material total cost, the method used is the Periodic Review Model and Hybrid System methods because the approach leads to how much amount and time it takes to order raw materials. In addition, how much it costs to be more efficient. From calculation using Periodic Review Model and Hybrid System methods, it can be seen that raw material optimal total cost of sheepskin and synthetic using Periodic Review Model method is Rp 285,695,230,286 / year total value; or Rp 23,807,935,857 / month for Sheepskin raw materials; and Rp 383,420,202,215 / year or Rp 31,951,683,518 / month for synthetic raw materials.
