Abstract
ABSTRAK Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara secara geografik sangat rentan terhadap bencana alam. Namun, setiap daerah di Indonesia belum mempunyai hunian sementara yang cepat bangun. Hunian sementara merupakan fasilitas primer yang penting terhadap mental pengungsi dan sebagai salah satu rangkaian upaya untuk mengurangi risiko bencana sekaligus sebagai transisi ke hunian tetap. Pembuatan hunian sementara dengan material bambu dipilih sebagai material utama yang tidak diragukan akan kuat lentur, kuat tekan, dan kuat tarik. Material bambu diproses dengan rekayasa teknik pengolahan bambu terbarukan dan menghasilkan produk mirip dengan industri komposit kayu, yaitu berupa menjadi balok bambu. Teknik tersebut melalui pengolahan dan daya tahan uji ketahanan bambu. Sedangkan sistem sambungan yang efisien dapat di bongkar pasang atau knock down system dipilih karena dapat dikemas dengan ringkas sehingga mempermudah dalam mendistribusi barang. Manajemen waktu dan transportasi menjadi cepat dan efektif sehingga hunian sementara dapat cepat terbangun dan dikemas kembali ketika terjadi bencana. Bangunan hunian sementara dengan material bambu dan menggunakan metode sambungan knock down system diharapkan dapat membantu memenuhi kebutuhan akan fungsi hunian bagi korban bencana alam di Indonesia. Kata kunci: Hunian Sementara, Tektonika Bambu, Balok Bambu, Knock Down System ABSTRACT Indonesia is a country that is geographically very vulnerable to natural disasters. However, every region in Indonesia does not yet have fast-building temporary housing. Temporary shelter is an important primary facility for the mentality of refugees and as one of a series of efforts to reduce disaster risk as well as a transition to permanent housing. The making of temporary shelters with bamboo material was chosen as the main material which is undoubtedly the flexural strength, compressive strength and tensile strength. Bamboo material is processed by engineering renewable bamboo processing techniques and produces a product similar to the wood composite industry, which is in the form of bamboo blocks. The technique is through processing and durability test of bamboo resistance. Meanwhile, the efficient connection system can be assembled or knock-down system chosen because it can be packaged in a concise manner making it easier to distribute goods. Time management and transportation are fast and effective so that temporary shelters can be quickly rebuilt and repackaged when a disaster occurs. Temporary residential buildings made of bamboo material and using the knock down system connection method are expected to help fulfill the need for shelter functions for victims of natural disasters in Indonesia.
