Abstract

ABSTRAK The employee's presence in the company requires attendance, discipline, and honesty. Related to attendance, a company needs a tool to manage the employee the presence process to be more accurate and efficient. Honesty and discipline must be done in the presence process. A timesheet recapitulation which is conducted manually calculated based on attendance records that have been made. The use of attendance cards in the form of RFID, or initials can occur cheating to avoid delays or absences. Errors in the calculation of attendance, illness, permission, and without information can affect the payment of employee salaries. In this case, the researcher created a design of the internet-based fingerprint presence system (IoT) using NodeMCU with the prototype development method in ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram) modeling. The designs were using the PHP programming language, MySQL as a database, and NodeMCU as its microcontroller. The results of the web page were running well and the accuracy of the tool 95%, the precision of the tool 100% proved that this tool is feasible to use.
