Abstract
Hyperglycemia is a condition of high blood sugar ratio. Hyperglycemia usually refers to a plasma blood sugar ratio that is higher than 180mg / dL while hypoglycemia is a condition of sugar levels that are below normal. Hypoglycemia usually refers to a blood sugar ratio of less than 60mg / dL. blood sugar levels in the body is the pancreas by producing the hormone insulin. The job of the insulin hormone itself is to regulate blood sugar levels and process carbohydrates, fats, proteins and vitamins to be converted into energy. Usually people take blood sugar levels to go to a health clinic or it can be measured themselves by using a blood sugar check glucometer. There are some people who are usually afraid of needles used for taking blood samples so some people are still afraid to check their sugar their own blood. The way this tool works is by inserting a finger into the sensor and the results will be displayed on the LCD and sent to the smartphone. The success rate of this tool is 89.3% with an error percentage of 10.3% . Keywords: Blood Sugar, Photodiode, NodeMCU
