Abstract
ABSTRACT Web based Information System for New Student Admission and Score (Study case of Karitas Elementary School Yogyakarta) is a system that gives online report information system for initial activity in Karitas Elementary School Yogyakarta, in the form of web based for new student and student’s score report. Therefore, information is more effective and efficient. The problem occurred in Karitas Elementary School is the system is not relevant with today’s technology and constrained with computerized system that requires electricity power. It can be said that the system cannot be used when the power is down. The system objective is to improve system in Karitas Elementary School, so new-student’s registration data and student score can be accessed online. The system uses XAMPP as webserver and MySQL as database. As for limiting the access, it will be set using student’s own user access. The final task has to produce access rights for every user or user itself from Admin to operating the system, homeroom teacher as the authorized party to print students’ report, and then classroom teacher and subject arranged by the system, lastly the school’s staff arranges new-student’s registration data.
