Abstract
ABSTRACT SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Klaten has been established since 1955. It is a Senior High School that has an important role in enlightening the citizens. In serving learning program, it is required information system and technology device. This is strengthened by library information system planning which is called Muhigh Library. The research methodology covers field research, library research and utilizing SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) concept that consists of planning, design, analysis, and implementation. Process conducted in this system such as: data collection, searching for library books, membership, borrowing administration, and returning library books. Information produced in the form of membership data, books list, borrowing and returning report. Result of the research is to give easiness in managing library data, such as: book data, borrowing book data, and returning book data, and data searching process. It has storage media that is more effective and efficient. Keywords: Library Information System, SDLC, Information System
