Abstract
ABSTRACT Mitra Catering H.Kasmu is one of the catering services in Yogyakarta that provides various foods (food and beverages). Aside providing various foods, Mitra Catering H.Kasmu also rents decoration set and glassware as well as various utensils for food and beverages. Mitra Catering H.Kasmu is located in Palagan Street, Sedan hamlet RT.4 RW.33 no.49c, Sleman Yogyakarta. The business was established in 1989. In handling the catering business, Mitra Catering H.Kasmu uses note book as medium to record the activity, such as noting when there is order for food and beverages, decoration set rental, and various utensils of food and beverages. Using manual record, it makes many problems, such as it takes more time to find data, input data, erase data, edit data, and make a report. Taking note is also prone to risk of losing it. When taking note on inventory supply at the warehouse, it is often found mistakes among employees. Therefore, through Web based Inventory Management System Information, it is expected to help solving the problems. Displaying information in the form of web makes it easier for the owner and employees to count inventory in controlling displayed data. Software uses in creating this application is PHP (Pear Hypertext Pre-processor) as programming language, MySQL as database server, Sublime Text as text editor to perform programming.
