Abstract
In processing report cards, SMAIT Abu Bakar Yogyakarta still uses the manual method which is vulnerable to various problems. This condition has an impact on the slow processing of report cards.The purpose of this research is to design a report card information system based on web programming at SMAIT Abu Bakar Yogyakarta. It is to facilitate the processing of report cards with integrated data and to make the presentation of information from report cards become faster and more accurate.The research methodology used in the design of this system is the Waterfall technique, which starts from planning, analysis, design, implementation and maintenance. The program implementation uses PHP programming language with Codeigniter Framework and MySQL database.The results and conclusions obtained after the construction of this web based report card information system is that the processing of report cards becomes easier, faster and more accurate because the value data entered by the subject teacher can be calculated automatically in the system, so errors in calculations can be minimized. The easier delivery of grades, makes teachers save more time. Keywords: Report Card Information System, Waterfall, Codeigniter.
