Abstract
Pondok Pesantren Al-Munawwir Krapyak Complex "L" is a complex of male students. The boarding school is located at Jalan KH. Ali Maksum Drum Post 5, Krapyak Hamlet, Village Panggungharjo, Sewon, Panggungharjo, Krapyak Kulon, Panggungharjo, Sewon, Bantul, Yogyakarta. It is a Salaf moslem boarding school. The growing number of students makes the complex need management structure to handle all activities of the students. In this matter, stewardship is the most important to provide. The most common error is to be less objective in determining cottage headman. The headman then does not work properly to assist to all students especially the new ones. To avoid fraud or subjectivity factor, it is necessary to create a support system or recommendation in determining the candidates of headman. This research aims to create a support system or recommendations for selecting candidates of headman in Pondok Pesantren Al-Munawwir Krapyak Complex "L" Yogyakarta. The system helps to determine the final value of the calculation process Weighted Product (WP) and determine the ranking of each of data alternalif based on criteria comprising Tahfidz, length of stay, time of stewardship, attendance, the status of students, Quran studies, madrasah studies, achievement, graduates, and age. The programming languages used to develop a ranking system are Java and NetBeans IDE as well as for processing database using MySQL. The method used to build the system is Weighted Product (WP). graduates, and age. The output system raises the results of the ranking of data of village headman candidates that have been inputted in accordance with the criteria determined by the boarding school. Then, the top 3 ranking candidates are given a recommendation to become the next headman of the cottage. Keywords: Boarding School, Ranking, Rating
