Abstract
Fremilt Thai Tea Yogyakarta is a business unit or sector engaged in the culinary field. It serves products. The business also makes financial reports. The problem that occurs is that recording is still manual on paper. Such a recording model will have the potential for making errors, losing data, and performing less effectively. In addition, the level of accuracy and accountability is very low, and it is prone to manipulation. The purpose of designing a Financial Information System Using the Accrual Basis Method is to make accountants easier to manage and record incoming and outgoing transactions, and to make owners easier to view financial reports for a certain period. The result of creating a Financial Information System using the Accrual Basis method will be used to manage accounts and determine the details of account accounts. The results of interviews with informants when conducting research show that the financial information system can determine the opposing account of the account, and determine whether the account belongs to the type of debit or credit. It affects the addition or reduction of balances to be used in financial recording transactions and the reports to be generated are journal reports, general ledgers, balance sheets and profit and loss.
