Abstract
Indonesian people like to have ornamental fish. Having ornamental fish, in addition to being a hobby, can also make a decoration in the house’s guest room. There are many types of ornamental fish such as goldfish, koi, black ghost, lemon, red zebra, etc. The monitoring of goldfish includes keeping fish healthy and water clean. Hence it is necessary to create applications that can monitor the water and arrange for aquarium watering. Irrigation control includes draining water and filling aquarium water remotely. By utilizing microcontroller technology and the Android operating system, the authors propose an Android-based carp fish water clarity monitoring application based on Android. This monitoring application can maintain aquarium air clarity, water pH and water temperature. It is hoped that this monitoring application can help the owner of goldfish chef sellers in managing aquarium cleanliness. There is another feature in the monitoring application to activate the pump. Monitoring applications can perform accuracy to determine the percentage of brightness from a comparison of accuracy of manual and system calculations of 98,30 %.
