Abstract
Gendhisbags is personal home industry company that engages in the field of handicrafts, especially in making bags made from natural materials and their combination. Gendhisbags has conducted sales promotions through social media such as Instagram, Facebook and sales calls. However, the method is not enough to inform the store widely both domestically and abroad. To overcome this matter, the author uses the concept of e-commerce which is quite developed in the field of information technology. The concept of E-Commerce provides many conveniences and advantages, including all the information that consumers want. It can be accessed in more detail, quickly without being limited by place and time, and the transaction process can be made much easier. Therefore, through the design and manufacture of an e-commerce system, the online shop at this Gendhisbags store can make it easier and more profitable for many parties, both consumers and sellers. Presentation of information in the form of a website will make it easier for customers to access it. The system design built is the Codeigniter Framework with the concept of MVC (Model View Controller). The software used in building this application is PHP (Pear Hypertext Prepocessor) as a programming language, MySQL as a database server, and visual studio code as a text editor. The results obtained after this system is created is an e-commerce system that can facilitate many parties, both buyers and sellers in conducting transactions so that it can give effect to the development of product marketing and company progress.
