Abstract

ABSTRAK Sumber daya air adalah sumber daya berupa air yang berguna atau potensial bagi manusia. Kegunaan air meliputi penggunaan di bidang pertanian, industri, rumah tangga, rekreasi, dan aktivitas lingkungan. Sangat jelas terlihat bahwa seluruh manusia membutuhkan air tawar dan mencakup keseluruhan air di bumi adalah 97% air asin dan hanya 3% berupa air tawar yang lebih dari 2/3 bagiannya berada dalam bentuk es kutub. Air tawar yang tidak membeku dapat ditemukan terutama di dalam tanah berupa air tanah, dan hanya sebagian kecil berada di atas permukaan tanah dan di udara. Penelitian ini dilakukan di DAS Gajah Wong dari hulu di desa Caturtunggal, Kec. Depok, Kab. Sleman sampai hilir yang berada di desa Wonokromo, Kec. Pleret, Kab. Bantul. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah data primer yang dilakukan dengan terjun langsung ke lapangan dengan cara wawancara dan mengambil dokumetasi secara langsung dan dilakukan pengolahan data. Hasil Studi Pemanfaatan Sumber Air di aliran sungai Gajah Wong dengan melakukan pencarian dari hulu ke hilir dan hasil wawancara warga sekitar sungai pada musim kemarau mendapatkan 12 titik mata air yang mempunyai perkiraan debit aliran selama 24 jam di sepanjang DAS Gajah Wong adalah sebagai beikut: 22,464 liter/hari di mata air Desa Pandeyan, ada 2 titik sumber mata air 18,144 liter/hari dan 3,560 Lt/hari di mata air di Desa Jagalan, 26,784 liter/hari dan 10,368 liter/hari di satu desa Giwangan, Baciro 8,640 Lt/hari, 3,456 Lt/hari, Tegal, 9,990 Lt/hari, Catur Tunggal 30,557 Lt/hari Gedongkuning, 2,604 Lt/hari Bebadan dan 3,113 Lt/hari di desa Muja Muju. Pemanfaatan aliran sungai Gajah Wong di Saluran irigasi Tegal dimanfaatkan untuk mengairi 35 Ha area persawahan dan embung. Saluran embung Bedakan sudah tidak dimanfaatkan lama dengan kondisi saluran kering. Saluran irigasi Mrican dimanfaatkan untuk mengairi 162 Ha area persawahan dan Saluran irigasi Wirokerten dimanfaatkan untuk mengairi 85 Ha area persawahan desa Wirokerten dan Wonokromo. Kata kunci: Pemanfaatan Sungai, Kondisi Mata Air, Kondisi Sungai. ABSTRACT Water resources are useful or potential for humans. Water use includes use in agriculture, industry, household, recreation, and environmental activities. It is very clear that all humans need fresh water and cover the total water on earth is 97% salt water and only 3% is fresh water with more than 2/3 of it in the form of polar ice. Freshwater that does not freeze can be found mainly in the form of ground water, and only a small portion is above ground level and in the air.This research was conducted in the Gajah Wong watershed from upstream in Caturtunggal village, Kec. Depok, Kab. Sleman until downstream in the village of Wonokromo, Kec. Pleret, Kab. Bantul. The data collected is primary data which is done by going directly into the field by means of interviews and taking direct documentation and data processing. Results of the Study of Utilization of Water Sources in the Gajah Wong river flow by searching from upstream to downstream and the results of interviews of residents around the river in the dry season obtained 12 points of springs that have an estimated flowrate for 24 hours along the Gajah Wong watershed as follows: 22,464 liters / day in the spring of Pandeyan Village, there are 2 spring sources of 18.144 liters / day and 3,560 Lt / day in springs in Jagalan Village, 26,784 liters / day and 10.368 liters / day in one village of Giwangan, Baciro 8,640 Lt / day, 3,456 Lt / day, Tegal, 9,990 Lt / day, Catur Tunggal 30,557 Lt / day Gedongkuning, 2,604 Lt / day Bebadan and 3,113 Lt / day in Muja Muju village. Utilization of the Gajah Wong river flow in the Tegal irrigation channel was used to irrigate 35 hectares of paddy fields and reservoirs. Bedakan reservoir has not been used for a long time with the condition of dry channels. Mrican irrigation canals are used to irrigate 162 Ha of paddy fields and Wirokerten irrigation canals are used to irrigate 85 Ha of rice fields of Wirokerten and Wonokromo villages.
