Abstract
ABSTRAK Beton merupakan salah satu bahan konstruksi yang paling banyak digunakan dalam pembangunan. Penggunaan beton yang banyak tersebut tentunya harus menghasilkan beton dengan kualitas dan mutu yang baik. peningkatan mutu beton tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan penambahan bahan atau admixture, baik menggunakan bahan tambah kimiawi atau mineral. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh bahan tambah metakolin dan serat limbah daun tembakau, mengetahui pengaruh nilai slump, serta mengetahui kadar optimum penambahan bahan metakaolin 9%, 10%, 11%, 12%, dan serat limbah daun tembakau 5% terhadap peningkatan kuat tekan. Mutu beton rencana adalah 25 MPa, yang dibuat menggunakan perencanaan SNI 03-2834-2000, dengan umur rencana pengujian adalah 28 hari. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa beton bahan tambah metakaolin 9%, 10%, 11%, 12%, dan serat limbah daun tembakau 5% secara keseluruhan mengalami peningkatan kuat tekan apabila dibandingkan dengan beton normal 25 MPa. Pengaruh penambahan bahan tambah tersebut terhadap nilai slump yaitu memenuhi syarat 10 cm ± 1 cm, dengan kuat tekan beton bahan tambah mengalami peningkatan. Kata kunci : beton, metakaolin, serat limbah daun tembakau, slump, kuat tekan. Abstract Concrete is one of the most widely used construction materials in construction. The use of a lot of concrete, of course, must produce concrete with good quality. Increasing the quality of the concrete can be done by adding materials or admixtures, either using chemical or mineral additives. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of methacholine added material and tobacco leaf waste fiber, to determine the effect of slump value, and to determine the optimum level of addition of 9%, 10%, 11%, 12%, and 5% of tobacco leaf waste fiber to the increase compressive strength. The quality of the plan concrete was 25 MPa, which was made using the SNI 03-2834-2000 plan, with a test plan life of 28 days. The test results showed that the concrete with added metakaolin 9%, 10%, 11%, 12%, and 5% of tobacco leaf waste fibers experienced an increase in compressive strength when compared to normal 25 MPa concrete. The effect of the addition of the added material on the slump value was that it met the requirements of 10 cm ± 1 cm and the compressive strength of the added material concrete increased.
