Abstract
Abstract Many road bodies have holes in them, causing puddles on the road, which later results in a short net life, therefore there are now many innovations to deal with these problems, one of which is innovation, namely porous asphalt. Porous asphalt itself is being developed in order to get optimal proportions and results. One of his studies was about the proportion of porous asphalt aggregate itself. This study aimed to determine the value of stability, VIM, flow and MQ of each proportion of uniform aggregate grading of 2.36 mm and 4.75 mm. Research was conducted using the provisions of stability, VIM, flow, MQ from the Australian Asphalt Pavement Association (AAPA) method. The specification of the proportion of the aggregate used (AAPA) and the provisions of the asphalt testing specifications, the manufacture of hot mix test objects and the Marshall test using the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). From the tests carried out, the KAO value was 6.5%, uniform gradation of 2.36 mm at asphalt content of 6.5% with a stability value of 550.89 kg, VIM 11.83%, flow of 3.4 mm and MQ of 162.026 kg / mm and uniform gradation of 4.75 mm at asphalt content 6, 5% with a stability value of 544.73 kg, VIM 13.64%, flow 3.27 mm and MQ 166.754 kg / mm. This showed that the greater bitumen at 60/70 penetration did not necessarily increase the stability value, and showed that the greater the proportion of aggregate the stability results were decreasing, while the higher bitumen content definitely decreased the VIM value because the asphalt covered the cavities between the aggregates which means absorption resulted also decreased.
