Abstract

Kata Kunci: Abu Sekam Padi, HRS-WC, Marshall Abstract A road is a building that functions to connect one place to another, a road that is not completely covered with asphalt will create pores. It will cause the pavement to become feeble to water which can cause damage. Several studies in the field of road construction show that rice husks are useful as a mixture in soil stability, rice husks in the form of ash can fill the voids left between the aggregate grains. The research in this test was an experimental method, namely by conducting experiments on the HRS-WC specimen. The test method in this study used the Marshall method with added ingredients of rice husk ash with a content of 1.0%; 1.25%; 1.5%; 1.75%; 2.0%; and 2.5%. In this test, the values of stability, VMA, VIM, VFA, Flow, MQ were obtained. The manufacture of the test specimens was carried out using hot mix. Based on the test results of the mixture of rice husk ash as a filler, the highest stability results were 1405.59 kg and the lowest was 952.84 kg. The highest flow results were 3.8 mm and the lowest was 3.2 mm. The highest VMA results were 24.46% and the lowest was 20.49%. The highest VIM result was 11.57% and the lowest was 6.64%. The results of VFA decreased in levels of 2.5% by 54.19% so that they did not meet the specifications. The MQ results decreased, the highest value occurred at levels of 1.5%, namely 410.598 kg / mm.
