Abstract
ABSTRAK Kebutuhan beton sebagai material konstruksi yang sangat tinggi menyebabkan diperlukan adanya inovasi untuk mengatasi kebutuhan beton yang semakin meningkat. Salah satu inovasi bahan tambah yang sering digunakan pada beton adalah fly ash. Penambahan fly ash kulit jagung dan superplasticsizer menggunakan kadar yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya. Pembuatan benda uji dilakukan di Batching Plant PT. Merak Jaya Beton , dengan umur 7 hari dengan mutu beton rencana 20 MPa sebanyak 15 sampel dengan menggunakan metode SNI 03-6468-2000. Hasil kuat tekan beton yang didapatkan 17,277 MPa untuk beton normal dan 20,75 untuk beton normal ditambahkan superplasticizer. Sedangkan untuk beton yang ditambahkan fly ash kulit jagung dan superplasticsizer menunjukkan peningkatan pada kadar 8% yaitu sebesar 28,89 MPa. Penelitian penambahan fly ash kulit jagung dengan kadar (7%;8%;9%) dan superplasticizer dapat membuktikan bahwa adanya pengaruh pada beton pada saat ditambahkan fly ash kulit jagung (7%;8%;9%) dan superplasticizer, dapat dilihat dari nilai kuat tekan dari mutu beton. Kata kunci : Fly Ash, Superplastcizer, Beton, Kuat Tekan Abstract The need for concrete as a construction material is very high, causing innovations are in demand to address the increasing need for concrete. One of the added material innovations that is often used in concrete is fly ash. Addition of corn husk fly ash and superplasticsizer used predetermined levels. The manufacture of test objects was carried out at the Batching Plant of PT. Merak Jaya Beton, with an age of 7 days with a concrete quality plan of 20 MPa as many as 15 samples using the SNI 03-6468-2000 method. The results of the concrete compressive strength obtained were 17.277 MPa for normal concrete and 20.75 for normal concrete with a superplasticizer added. As for the concrete added with corn husk fly ash and superplasticsizer, it showed an increase in levels of 8%, namely 28.89 MPa. Research on the addition of corn husk fly ash with levels (7%; 8%; 9%) and superplasticizer can prove that there was an effect on the concrete when corn husk fly ash and superplasticizer were added (7%; 8%; 9%).
