Abstract

ABSTRACT Street lighting is lighting that is public in nature and is usually installed on roads that are usually traversed by the general public. Controlling and monitoring street lighting using smartphones has not been widely used. Therefore the aim of the authors to create and design a controller and monitoring device for street lighting using Android is to assist users in doing street lighting work. System analysis, observation, system design and system implementation are the research methodologies used. The program was created using App Inventor as programming and Arduino as hardware. The result of this final project is a street light controller and monitoring application that is more efficient and faster than manual.
