Abstract
Threats to data security can be a frequent problem. Confidential data to be sent requires security so that it cannot be misused by irresponsible parties. The data to be conveyed requires security so that it can only be used by authorized recipients. This data or message security needs to be implemented in a computer system. Cryptography and Steganography applications are used to build a data security system capable of encryption, decryption and message insertion into digital images. The algorithm used is a classical cryptographic algorithm and the steganography technique uses the LSB method. Data in the form of text messages will be encrypted using 3 cryptographic methods and the message will be inserted into a digital image using the LSB (least significant bit) steganography method.
