Abstract
Ojan Sport is a business that is engaged in selling shoes, ranging from soccer shoes, futsal shoes, and running shoes. During this time the buying and selling process is still conventional in nature, that is, the buyers must come directly to the store to buy and the order still relies on social media. In addition, Ojan Sport owners also often have difficulty in knowing shoe sales trends that sometimes lack of stock and sometimes excess stock. One way to overcome this problem is by the existence of a method that can predict or predict shoe sales as a material consideration to maintain the availability of stock of goods. This study aims to create a sales forecasting system application using the Least Square method as well as a website-based shoe sales media. In predicting sales, sales data is needed in the past, the more data, the better the results. This research uses PHP, Javascript and HTML programming languages while the database storage uses MySQL and the text editor uses sublime text 3. The results of this research are in the form of web-based shoe sales forecasting system application that can predict shoe sales for the future by applying the method Least Square in the sales forecasting system so that the sale prediction results are obtained that can be considered in maintaining the availability of stock of goods. Keywords: Forecasting System, Forecasting, Shoes, Least Square.
