Abstract

Melati Kuncup Play Group Purworejo is one of the non-formal early childhood education institutions that functions to create a smart, healthy, independent and skilled young generation of the nation. KB Kuncup Melati Purworejo currently has 3 classes of students aged 2-6 years with facilities of 4 classrooms and 6 teachers. When viewed in terms of the age of preschool children aged 3 to 5 years, then these children are classified as toddlers. Children under five experienced rapid body growth that requires high nutrients every kg of body weight. Children under five are precisely the age group that most often suffers due to malnutrition. The need for nutrition in preschool children is very important for growth and development, especially the development of the brain that is very dependent on the intake of nutrients consumed. Grouping students based on nutritional status can help predict and determine the level of development. The author uses kmeans clustering method in grouping these students and the results can group students based on their level of development starting from the undeveloped, developing as expected, and developing very well.
