Abstract
Homestay is a house that is rented out for a certain period of time to learn about local culture or a certain routine. In this case, Kampoeng Homestay Damandiri is used as a place of research. In a homestay, there are several problems, for example in a less effective and efficient management and rental system. This results in a lack of information to customers regarding homestay availability and information. In overcoming this problem, an information system is needed that can manage homestay bookings that can be accessed anywhere. Web-based information systems can facilitate access to transactions between customers and service managers. The software used in building this application is PHP (Pear Hypertext Prepocessor) as a programming language, MySQL as a database server, sublime text as a support. It is hoped that the web-based rental system can improve the performance and quality of service, as well as make it easier for users to rent homestays.
