Abstract

The guitar is a musical instrument made of wood and is equipped with strings. To determine the best wood as a guitar material, an application design system is needed, in order to avoid errors and the interchangeability of various criteria in wood that will be used as material for guitar making. The application design and design system that researchers use is, Multi Objective Optimization On The Base Of Ratio Analysis (MOORA), because this method is a framework for making effective decisions on complex problems by simplifying and speeding up the decision making process by solving the problem into its parts, arranging these parts or variables in a hierarchical arrangement, giving value numerical on subjective considerations about the importance of each variable and synthesizing these various considerations to determine which variables and synthesize which have the highest priority and act to influence the outcome of the situation, then the criteria to be judged u, wood strength, wood grain, texture, and wood weight.
