Abstract

PT. Sumber Baru Aneka Motor is a company engaged in the sales center, spare parts and maintenance of zuzuki cars in the Yogyakarta regional area. The main resource of the company is required to provide the best service to consumers and to provide optimal capabilities and performance. Employees are tasked with managing the input that the company has maximally to get the results expected by the company. This shows that employees are very important for the company. To get qualified and competent employees in doing the assigned tasks. Therefore, the company conducts a new employee recruitment selection process. The problem that is often found during the selection of prospective employees is the difficulty of the company in assessing and selecting competent and non-competent prospective employees, because the company has to compare the test results of prospective employees one by one. So it takes a long time. Besides that, the most difficult thing in making a decision is eliminating the subjective factor of a person, so that every decision made is objective based on the criteria expected by the company. To overcome this problem, a recommendation application is needed for the selection of prospective employees by considering each given criteria. This study aims to improve the performance of the employee candidate selection system. This study uses Mamdani's Fuzzy Inference System to determine the eligibility of prospective employees at PT.Sumber Baru Aneka Motor. Keywords: Fuzzy Inference System, Mamdani, employee selection.
