Abstract
Special Region of Yogyakarta is known as "Student City", this is seen from the growth of active students in Yogyakarta reaching 229,761 people, where 70% percent of them are from outside the province of Yogyakarta, all of whom are boarding students. Students seek boarding by getting information from friends or directly, this is less effective and inefficient. In addition, the budget, facilities and boarding location are considered, making it difficult for the decisionmaking process. From this background, the Open Street Map Implementation was built in the Kos Room Selection Application Using the Weighted Product Method, using the PHP programming language and the MySQL database which has decision support system features. The final result obtained is the Boarding House Selection Application that has the ability to recommend boarding places according to the desired criteria, providing important information about boarding and displaying the coordinates of the boarding place. Based on the analysis of trials on users concluded that this application is very easy to use, very useful and very reliable.
