Abstract

BSM is a program that function to provide scholarships to students who have financial problems to meet their educational needs. The distribution of BSM scholarships id expected to be able to help underprivileged students to continue their education. However, the current reality in the field states that there are still many inaccuracies for BSM recipients. One of them is at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Muntilan. The distribution of BSM to students can be done if the student’s parents ask for a fee waiver from the school by submitting requirements in the form of a statement of incapacity from the local village government. This of course will be detrimental to those who really deserve the scholarship assistance. Therefore, this decision support system was created to assist the calculation process so that the distribution of BSM can be evenly distributed and in accordance with the predetermined assessment parameters, namely the value of report card, parent’s income and the number of parent’s dependents. This system was built using Tsukamoto fuzzy logic by applying the AND operator to obtain crisp values as a result of the calculation. With the decision support system that implement the Tsukamoto fuzzy, it’s hoped that it will be able to assist agencies in making calculations so that the appropriate results and BSM recipient student are obtained.
