Abstract
Geographical Information Systems are very important for mapping location-based information to make it easier for users to find out detailed information and specific locations. In the case study the “CAMAT PRAMBANAN KLATEN” office which is engaged in regional administration, is in the process of developing information services on road and building damage in several villages in Prambanan sub-district where information can be seen by many people and can get a response from the community. While the agency has tried several attempts by using social media and the My Maps application, My Maps is used to map damage information while social media is used to spread information to many people. However, these efforts still have shortcomings, namely in data management.The research conducted aims to build a geographic information system or location-based service web-based that can map data into a map and manage damage data to make it more effective and efficient. The research methodology uses the stages of data collection, analysis, design, implementation and system testing. Testing this system using the black box testing method. So that this research produces a system that makes it easier for agencies to manage damage data and then map it into a map with information according to the needs desired by the community.
