Abstract
Technology has become a characteristic feature in the current era of globalization, resulting in the formation of transparency in various fields, especially in the field of information technology. Fast and accurate information is a form of information that is needed by the public. In handling the sales process, the company has difficulties in managing and carrying out its business processes. Customers usually find it difficult to get information about the catalog of available goods, because the catalog is only owned by a seller and the seller also finds it difficult to find customers and explain the contents of the catalog to each customer. Sales transactions that are often carried out are by cash payment so that there is no online transaction media that can make it easier for customers to make payments. In the process of recording sales reports, companies still use ledger media so that the data is not neatly organized, hampering data management and storage. Therefore an e-commerce design was built that uses a payment gateway as an online payment tool to assist companies in the sales process and is used as a promotional method via the web. The purpose of this study is to build an e-commerce website using a waterfall. The system development in this research is website-based using PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the Database Management System.
